Membership

Membership to the HBCU National Band Directors Annual Convention (HBCU-NBDC) is open to everyone who has a desire to come together to have fun, meet new and exciting people, and learn more about music.

These institutions are collaborative members of the HBCU-NBDC. Representatives from these schools come together for conferences and/or meetings to discuss such topics as the impact of music on today's youth; the types of music the students are listening to, and how to incorporate it into the curriculum, if it is education-worthy.

Becoming A Member

The HBCU-NBDC membership form also serves as the Annual Convention institution registration form, as an institution that has joined the HBCU-NBDC automatically receives registration privileges to the Annual Convention.

Associate Membership

Associate memberships are available to public school music educators and administrators. Enjoy the benefits of being a part of an elite group of HBCU music professionals. You will receive invitations to members-only events, and be included on news with our HBCUs.
